Navigant Consulting optimistic about its growth in the UK
Our management consultancy columnist, Mick James, this week talks to Brian Norton, European Head of Corporate Development at Navigant Consulting, about how cross-Atlantic acquisitions can create a unique consultancy.
Such is the growth of the UK consulting market that it's becoming increasingly attractive to firms from other markets, particularly firms from the US, which are increasingly acquiring UK businesses to consolidate their positions and provide platforms for further growth.

Atos Origin ends takeover talks; reports increase in revenues
While announcing its unaudited revenues for the three months ended 31 March 2007, Atos Origin said it has now finalised the review of strategic options, reaching the decision to terminate all discussions with third parties. At the end of the period set by the company, no binding offers were received and the Supervisory and Management Boards unanimously concluded that it's in the best interest of all group stakeholders to alone pursue and accelerate the transformation strategy the company announced in February of this year.
