Consulting Special in the Evening Standard reaches 855,000 potential hires
February 27th saw the publication of a new quarterly “Consulting Special” section in the Evening Standard, the result of a partnership between Top-Consultant.com and the London newspaper.
The edition reached an audience of 855,000 readers drawn from businesses and organisations across the Capital. Amongst the editorial pieces was a review of the role the consulting industry has played in the public sector change agenda, a counter-balance to the barrage of negative press coverage that has appeared in the UK media over the last months.

Consulting industry experiencing strong growth
The UK consulting industry is once again enjoying double-digit growth rates, according to the latest official figures. Following several years in which public sector spending kept consulting afloat, it is now very much private sector demand that is fuelling its continued expansion.
After a slow start to the new millennium the consultancy industry is now very much back on the growth track. Fiona Czerniawska, Director of the Management Consultancies Association Think Tank, says that the Association’s members grew revenues by 23% in 2005, and that level of growth is set to continue.

Axon increases revenue by 56%
Announcing its preliminary results for the year ended 31 December 2006, Axon Group plc, the business transformation consultancy, said continuing operations in Europe, America and Asia-Pacific drove revenue growth of 56% to £137.5 million (2005: £87.9 million)and adjusted profit before tax growth of 81% to £21.8 million (2005: £12.0 million).
