Are you paid enough?
New salary survey will benchmark salaries in IT Consulting and Management Consulting sectors

It’s the recurring question on the minds of executives and professionals. Am I paid enough? How much more could I negotiate if I really pushed for a raise? Would I benefit financially from a move to a competitor?

“More than any other topic, this is the one that really seems to vex our readers” says Top-Consultant.com Director Tony Restell. “It’s also a hot topic for our clients, who are always keen to know how their packages stack up against those of the competition.”

Thought Leadership
Selling High Value Consulting Services, Part III
Selling pitfalls that we don’t need to fall into

Most sales are lost, not because of what we say and do, but because of what we don’t say and don’t do. Rainmakers, the great revenue generators, don’t make these fatal errors. They avoid these well known pitfalls, but the rest of us can fall into them! These selling pitfalls can be fatal, because they can stop clients opening up, get us talking to the wrong people or worse still, downsizing the opportunity. These are not pitfalls that the client puts in front of us - we do it ourselves! (B2B Sales Consulting)
How can consultants prove their worth?
Value is a subjective term. Whereas one person might buy a Ford Focus and feel they have got a good value car for the money, another might think the same if they buy a Jaguar or Aston Martin. It depends on the customer and their expectations. But one benefit with cars is that it is relatively easy to establish what they are worth.
