Everybody wants a relationship
Our management consultancy columnist, Mick James, this week examines the current flurry of acquisitions in the context of the three main trends in consultancy seen today.

This would seem to be a good time to sell a consultancy firm given the intriguing flurry of acquisitions that has come through in the last weeks or so. This is not just business as usual. There's definitely a willingness among some firms to sell up—if things do flatten out in the economy, it could be some time before they achieve the sort of prices on offer today.

Accenture reports highest-ever annual revenue
